For me - it reminds me of fishing and beaches and the sun and all sorts of good things. I remember BBQs with friends and families. As a child, in 1988 I remember watching the 200 year anniversary first fleet arrive as a re-enactment of the first fleet arriving in Australia. It was pretty amazing.

At Church - we're continuing the story of King Jesus, as he approaches his death. In this weeks passage, he is asked "by what authority do you do these things?"

As we finish off 2021 and head into 2022 - can I encourage you to pause and thank God for his work in our world this past year, and pray for the year to come? Don't ask for God to make your life easier. Ask that God will grow you to maturity in Christ, and give you the strength to face whatever the year brings.
